Follicular adenoma - Case 36. (ultrasonographic picture 1)

Right lobe, horizontal view. A large echonormal nodule occupies almost the entire lobe. The nodule presents halo sign and numerous hyperechogenic figures. The latter correspond to fibrosis; depending on the angle between the transducer and a fibrotic bundles the latter appears either as granule or line.
