Epidermoid cyst in the region of the thyroid

Left lobe, longitudinal scan. The lack of normal parenchyma ventral to the lesion increases the possibility that the lesion is located outside the nodule, but it is not an absolute proof because a very thin parenchyma would not be detectable by ultrasound.
