Clinical data: a 24-year-old woman requested an evaluation of her goiter known for several years. She was treated with levo-tiroxin in oder to decrease the nodule. Except for ultrasound and a normal TSH no other tests were performed.

Palpation: the right lobe was firm and nodular.

Functional state: euthyroidism with subnormal TSH on daily 75 microgram levo-tiroxine: TSH 0.13 mIU/L, FT4 1.23 ng/dL.

The lesion in question is located in the right lobe.
