Clinical data: a 33-year-old hypothyroid woman requested a second opinion. She was treated for hypothyrodisim for several years but until this examination no ultrasound investigation was performed.

Palpation: both lobes were very firm.

Functional state: euthyroidism on daily 112.5 microgram levo-tiroxine (TSH 2.91 mIU/L).

The lesion in question is located in the right lobe.
