Clinical data: a 50-year-old woman was referred for aspiration cytology. The patient was "diagnosed" as having harboring carcinoma of unknown origin on a "thermoscan" by a non-medical practitioner.
Palpation: no abnormality.
Functional state: euthyroidism (TSH 0.75 mIU/L, anti-TPO 1,5 U/mL).
The lesion in question is located in the left lobe.
