Lesion proved to be a nodule in a pathological sense
Hyperechogenic area corresponding to intact parts not or less influenced by thyroiditis
Compare the shape, the size and the sum of the lesions in the two cases. The true nodule is more regular, larger than the lesions demonstrated in the right images. Moreover, the former case presents only one lesion while the latter does several discrete areas.
