Clinical presentation: A 71-year-old man was referred for evaluation of a nodular goiter discovered by himself. He has been having difficulties swallowing for several months.

Palpation: Both lobes were enlarged and nodular.

Functional state: euthyroidism with TSH 1.67 mIU/L.

Lesion in question:

in the left lobe.

Additional information on the lesion

Dimensions (width x depth x length): 33x22x43 mm.

Taller-than wide sign present: absent.

Intranodular vascularization: absent.

Pathologic adenopathy: absent.
