Clinical presentation: A 46-year-old woman was referred for evaluation of a nodular goiter discovered by the patient. She had difficulties in swallowing.

Palpation: a firm nodule in the right lobe.

Laboratory test: TSH 2.95 mIU/L.

Lesions in question:

the large nodule in the upper two-third of the right lobe.

Additional information on the lesion

Dimensions (width x depth x length): 41x25x49 mm.

Taller-than wide sign present: absent.

Intranodular vascularization: present.

Pathologic adenopathy: absent.
