Clinical presentation: A 61-year-old woman was referred for evaluation of a newly discovered nodule. The nodule was the only positive finding on a PET-CT. The patient was operated on for ductal invasive breast cancer 2 years earlier.
Palpation: a hard nodule in the right lobe.
Laboratory test: TSH 2.08 mIU/L.
Lesion in question:
the nodule in the right lobe.
Additional information on the lesion
Dimensions (width x depth x length): 11x11x17 mm.
Taller-than wide sign present: absent.
Intranodular vascularization: absent.
Pathologic adenopathy: absent.
