Clinical presentation. A 67-year-old woman presented with a history of goiter known for decades. Recently the patient has noticed increase in nodule size and some deepening of her voice.

Palpation: The entire right lobe was nodular, very firm and not freely moveable.

Laboratory test: TSH 3.67 mIU/L, anti-TPO 8 U/mL.

Lesion in question:

the nodular area occupying almost the entire right lobe.

Additional information on the lesion

Dimensions (width x depth x length): 26x29x35 mm.

Taller-than wide sign present: present.

Intranodular vascularization: present.

Pathologic adenopathy: absent.
