Nodular goiter

Clinical presentation: A 48-year-old woman was referred for evaluation of a nodular goiter which was discovered by the patient herself: she has been noticed unpleasant neck discomfort when lying down for a year.

Palpation: a not firm nodule in the right lobe.

Hormonal examination: TSH-level 0.83 mIU/L.

The dimensions of the larger nodule in the right lobe were 24x16x26 mm, width, depth, length, respectively.
