Clinical data

Clinical presentation: A 78-year-old man was referred for evaluation of a thyroid nodule which was discovered on medical check before a planned inguinal hernia surgery.

Palpation: no abnormality.

Laboratory tests: TSH 1.81 mIU/L, FT4 14.1 pM/L.
