Clinical data
Clinical presentation: A 61-yr-old woman was referred for aspiration cytology. She has been treated for hypothyroidism for 17 years. Recently, carotid Doppler examination was performed and multiple TIRADS 5 nodules were described.
Palpation: Both lobes were firm. No nodule could be palpated.
Laboratory tests: TSH 1.92 mIU/L on daily 87.5 microgram levothyroxine.
