Clinical data

Clinical presentation: A 72-yr-old woman came to a follow-up exam. FNA of a nodule in the left lobe resulted in atypia of unknown significance (Bethesda 3) 6 months ago. The nodule was discovered on ultrasound screening.

Palpation: a firm nodule in the left lobe.

Laboratory tests: TSH 2.53 mIU/L, aTPO 47 U/mL.

The size of the nodule was 11x12x13 mm, width, depth, length, respectively.
