Clinical data: A 65-year-old woman came to follow-up exam. She was treated with hypothyroidism for years. Recently, she noticed that her neck complaints (discomfort while turning her head to the right) have worsened.
Palpation: a nodule in the left lobe.
Laboratory data: TSH 1.88 mIU/L on daily 87.5 microgram levothyroxine.
