Comparison of the ultrasound presentations of the aberrant tissue and the muscle fiber. The most important task in the differentiation is the narrowing tail at the lateral (upper image) and at the upper part (lower image) of the muscle fiber. Moreover, the muscle fiber has parts with high adipose tissue content and with low adipose tissue content, less hypoechoic and deeply hypoechoic parts.
