Compare the two series of pictures. The three important differences mentioned in the previous table are less pronounced. The echogenicity is similar in these cases. The thyroid in Graves's diasease is larger but this has only very limited importance. However, the vascularization is increased in Graves', while practically absent in Hashimoto's disease.
