There were two discrete echonormal lesions in the right lobe, one in the upper and another one in the lower pole.

In such patterns we canncot decide whether these lesions are nodules in a pathological sense or not. However, the patinet was operated on for 19 years. A left lobectomy was performed and preoperative ultrasound pattern was identical to that seen now in the right lobe. No nodules were found on histopathology.
