Chronic lymphocytic thyroiditis - Case 48. (ultrasonographic picture 4)

Left lobe, longitudinal view. This picture is almost unequivocal. Firstly, the shape of the large nodule lesion does not fit to that of a nodule. And even more importantly, another similarly hypoechogenic area can be seen in the upper part of the lobe (arrow).
