Other edifying cases - Case 1.A healthy, intact thyroid |

Clinical presentation: a 28-year-old woman was referred for evaluation because of 'lump in the throat' feeling and complaints suggesting hyperthyroidism.
Palpation: no abnormality.
Ultrasonography: the thyroids were echonormal and there was no discrete lesion in the lobes. The vascularization was decreased.
Hormonal evaluation indicated euthyroidism with TSH 0.94 mIU/L and FT4 14.9 pM/L.
