Clinical data: a 55-year-old woman was referred for follow-up examination. She underwent total thyroidectomy because of toxic multinodular goiter for 7 years. She had no complaints.
Palpation: no abnormality.
Results of blood tests: euthyroidism on daily 75 microgram levothyroxine (TSH 2.05 mU/L).
Ultrasonography: there was no parenchyma according to the thyroid lobes.
