Clinical presentation: A 41-year-old woman came to a follow-up examination. First, I met her 12 years ago when several discrete lesions were found in the left thyroid lobe on evaluation of infertility. The largest diameter of the lesion which later became in question was 4 mm. Seven years later this lesion was measured as 6x6x7 mm (width, depth, length, respectively) and based on the ultrasound characteristics further follow-up was suggested. The patient had no complaints.

Palpation: no abnormality.

Hormonal examination: TSH-level 1.09 mIU/L.

The dimensions of the nodule in question were 7x7x9 mm, width, depth, length, respectively.
