Clinical presentation: A 41-year-old woman was referred for evaluation of a nodule. On routine blood test a subnormal TSH was detected, thereafter a nodule was found on ultrasound.
Palpation: a moderately firm nodule in the left lobe.
Laboratory tests: TSH 9.14 mIU/L, FT4 10.1 pM/L, aTPO above 1000 U/mL.
Additional data. The dimensions of the lesion in the LEFT lobe were 18x12x25 mm, width, depth and length, respectively.
