Clinical presentation: A 28-yr-old woman requested a second opinion. She has been treated for hypothyroidism for several years. Recently, a thyroid nodule was detected on ultrasound and FNA disclosed papillary cancer.
Palpation: a firm nodule in the left lobe.
Functional state: TSH 0.008 mIU/L, FT4 19.4 pM/L on daily 125 microgram levothyroxine and 10 microgram liothyronine.
The lesion in question is the largest one in the left lobe. The dimensions of this nodule were 12x7x18 mm, width, depth, length, respectively. There was another mass lateral and ventral to the left lobe. (This is marked with yellow arrow in the video.)
