Compare the two series of pictures. At the first examination (left column), the patient had hyperthyroidism, while at the second examination (right column) the hyperthyroidism spontaneously resolved. The only difference between the two examinations is in the vascularization. Initially the blood flow was increased, while decreased on the follow-up.
