Differential diagnostic of neck lymph nodes
Graves disease - Case 5

A benign, reactive-type lymph node in the right side of the neck

A metastatic lymph node in the left side of the neck

Compare the sonographic pattern of the two nodes. While the benign lymph node presents a regular hilum and no vascularization, the meatastatic node displays no hilum and an irregular, chaotic vascular pattern.
