Characteristic cytological properties - hyperplastic papillary fragments

Hyperplastic papillary fragments are three-dimesional structures. The arrangement of the cells can be judged in certain cases at the edge of the cell cluster where monolayered parts can be found. Here the cells are regularly distributed. More important is the tendency of cells at the border of papillar to dissociate. Vacuolisation at the borders and projections of the cellular material are characteristic findings.
