 Rigth lobe, longitudinal view. There is a focus with microcalcifications in the ventral part of the lesion. Note the irregular borders. There are several less hypoechogenic circumscribed areas within the lobe with a maximal diameter in the range of 1 to 3 mm. These represents active foci of the underlying Hashimoto's thyroiditis. |
