Pap-smear, 400x.   It is worth to analyze the arrangement of cells in the larger cluster, and to compare this cluster with that of a hyperthyroid goiter. In the latter the arrangement of cells is regular, nuclear crowding and overlapping is a rare finding. Moreover, there is a nucleus containing groove. The four cells in the right corner display abundant cytoplasm.
