Speciality: Endocrinology . Special expertise in thyroid fields: thyroid nodules, thyroid cancer, refractory thyroid cancer, hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, thyroid biopsy, thyroid diseases, hyperparathyroidism, ultrasonography, thermoablation.

Pr Laurence Leenhardt is the chief of the Thyroid and Endocrine Tumors Unit at Pitié Salpêtrière Hospital, Paris, France. She is certified Professor of Endocrinology at Sorbonne University. She manages patients with thyroid disease and thyroid cancer (imaging, FNA and I131 therapy). She is investigator in protocols for refractory thyroid cancer. She develops thermoablation of thyroid nodules. She contributes to setting up ETA and national guidelines on thyroid nodules, cancer and ultrasonography. She is a member of the European Thyroid Association (ETA Executive Committee from 2011 to 2014), of the French Endocrine Society and of the European Society of Endocrinology. She has written for the JCEM , Thyroid and EJE . She is reviewer of JCEM, EJC, EJR, EJE, ETJ, Thyroid .
