Clinical presentation: A 59-yr-old man was referred for evaluation of nodular goiter which has been detected on screening.
Palpation: a moderately firm nodule min the right lobe.
Functional state: euthyroidism (TSH 3.65 mIU/L).
The dimensions of the nodule in the right lobe were 16x14x16 mm, width, depth, length, respectively while those of the nodule in the left lobe were 11x11x9 mm, width, depth, length, respectively.
