PAPILLON COURSE on THYROID ULTRASOUND
Quiz to May 19 Webinar
I ask you in advance to view ultrasound videos of 15 nodular goiter patients who were later operated on, then answer a short questionnaire. Not a detailed analysis but rather the first impression is investigated and will be compared to the final histopathological diagnosis. It won't take longer than 45 minutes.
The cases were chosen from three consecutively operated series, in which the final diagnosis was either benign hyperplastic nodule or follicular tumor or papillary cancer. Only patients with nodule or nodules in question larger than 10 mm in diameter were involved. More than 99% of all surgically treated nodule belong to these pathologies.
The questions are basically about which of the three histological diagnoses seems likely. There will surely be many who will be amazed at how this question can not only be answered but asked. Hopefully after the webinar, many people will think differently. But I can't tell all the secrets now ...
The final diagnosis will be given at the webinar and also here in this website by May 22.
So, you are kindly invited to a game this last time. If you feel like adding it, please click here to start with the quiz. Then meet us on May 19, 6 p.m.
