Differential diagnostic - arrangement of cells
Papillary cancers - Case 29
Graves' disease - Case 12
The borders of the cells within the cluster are well-defined. There is nuclear overlapping and crowding.
Monolayered sheets with indistinct cell borders. There is neither crowding nor overlapping.

The arrangement of cells is a less important phenomenon in the differential diagnostic. Nevertheless, the irregularities in the structure was the only sign of papillary cancer in the above presented case.
