Clinical presentation: a 48-year-old woman was referred for an evaluation of a 'lump in the throat' feeling.
Palpation: both lobes of the thyroid were enlarged, but caused no complaints to the patient.
Functional state: euthyroidism.
Ultrasonography: multinodular goiter.
Cytological report: benign colloid goiter.
Suggestion: follow-up examination.
